Drunch en Gracia-Rosso Porpora-Local

Rosso Porpora it’s an Italian restaurant that offers the typical Italian aperitivo with an all you can eat buffet. Nowadays, in cities like New York, this is known as a drunch.
Rosso Porpora is well located in a parallel street of Travessera de Gracia crossing Gran de Gracia. The place is not very big but it’s definitely cosy with its chandeliers, brown wooden tables and, of course, a lot of red!
The price for the first drink that allows you to enjoy this drunch in Gracia is 5€. If you like to have something stronger, the price for mojitos, caipirinha and caipiroska is 4,50€ and 5,50€ for other cocktails. Of course they prepare Spritz as well, with Campari or Aperol*.
The dishes I could enjoy during my visit were home made and delicious. The cold dishes were: Italian mortadella, humus, sauce of fresh tomatoes to be served on bread, lavash* bread rolls with aubergine and ham, zucchini in vinegar.
The hot dishes were a delicious pasta with ragú that was actually al dente, mushrooms, potatoes tortilla, pisto, pie with potatoes, bacon and zucchini.
You can enjoy this drunch from Monday to Saturday from 7:30pm to 9pm. So, if you work in Gracia, don’t just go for a beer after-work. Bring your colleagues to Rosso Porpora and between beers you’ll realize that in the meantime you had almost dinner.

*Lavash is a flatbread usually used for wraps.
* It’s the drink that usually is served with an Italian aperitivo. It’s made with Campari or Aperol, two types of vermouth, bubbly wine and soda.
